Alma Propulsion Laboratory

The propulsion laboratory at the University of Bologna is located within the Hangar building, aside of the Airport of Forlì in via Seganti 103. The lab is available for students and researchers, both for teaching and research activities. Within the lab, students can develop their works on the tasks assigned in class, or design and finalize the projects they designed to participate the student challenges they applied for. The lab offers also the possibility to do internships and thesis works connected with the research activities that are developed, mainly focused on three topics- Solid Rocket Booster design and modeling- Plasma thrusters and discharges simulation and modeling- Internal combustion engines and gas turbines testing and control.
