Fondazione Ricerca Fibrosi Cistica (FFC Ricerca) promuove, seleziona e finanzia progetti avanzati di ricerca per migliorare la durata e la qualità di vita dei malati e diffondere la conoscenza della fibrosi cistica tra la popolazione. Riconosciuta dalla comunità internazionale e prima realtà italiana interamente dedicata agli studi per nuove cure della fibrosi cistica, dal 1997 contribuisce al progresso delle conoscenze che rendono la malattia più curabile. Dal 2002 ha promosso e finanziato 454 progetti selezionati dal suo Comitato scientifico e da esperti internazionali, coinvolgendo circa ricercatori provenienti da 261 gruppi clinici e laboratori. La fibrosi cistica è la malattia genetica grave più diffusa. Colpisce molti organi, ma è il danno ai polmoni che porta all'impossibilità di respirare. ARIESPACE is a small-sized enterprise (SME), established in the year 2006 as the first spin-off company of the University of Naples “Federico II. ARIESPACE provides ready-to-use and user-friendly Decision Support Systems (DSS) based on satellite observations, geospatial data and biophysical models. Our aim is to feel the gap between currently availability geospatial tools and quantitative information needed to people working in field. The experience to carry out our tasks has been developed and applied in different contexts. For instance, we developed an operative processing chain to estimate crop water requirements and a web-tool dedicated to farmers, associations and water authorities in the context of the IRRISAT project An operative example of integration of web interface, geospatial data and process model was developed in the “Agroscenari” project, in which different climatic scenarios, crops, soil data and meteorological inputs are used to run SWAP code for climate change impact simulation on crop systems. The approach developed in Mediterranean regions was also transferred to other arid and semi-arid agricultural systems, as for instance in Southern Australia Our experience has been established and consolidated in the context of in various national and international projects funded by EU (FP6, FP7) and LIFE+, the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and Campania Regional Government and public irrigation water user associations (Consortia).

We provide testing and problem solving on materials, scheduling a focused plan, driven by knowledge of materials and regulatory affairs related to the markets, in terms of sustainability and rationality of quality controls. Our headquarters are based in Tuscany, Via Enrico Pestalozzi 63, Pistoia, where documentary evaluations and laboratory tests are performed, according to good laboratory practices and ISO / IEC 17025 requirements; some tests are conducted using partner laboratories, under direct supervision.
