Amader Kotha Helpline

The Amader Kotha Helpline was first established in July 2014 to provide workers with a mechanism to report and resolve safety and other concerns in the RMG sector in Bangladesh. The Helpline was initially established as a project of the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety following the Rana Plaza tragedy. In July 2018, the Helpline became an independent initiative available to all garment workers with the support of factories and brands. আমাদের কথা হেল্পলাইন ২014 সালের জুলাই মাসে প্রথম প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল যাতে বাংলাদেশের আরএমজি সেক্টরের শ্রমিকরা তাদের কর্মক্ষেত্রের নিরাপত্তা ও অন্যান্য উদ্বেগের বিষয়ে অবহিত করতে পারে। হেল্পলাইনটি প্রাথমিকভাবে রানা প্লাজা ট্র্যাজেডির পর অ্যালায়েন্স ফর বাংলাদেশ ওয়ার্কার সেফটি একটি প্রকল্প হিসাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। ২0১৮ সালের জুলাই মাসে, হেল্পলাইন কারখানা ও ব্রান্ডের সহায়তায় সকল গার্মেন্ট শ্রমিকদের জন্য একটি স্বাধীন উদ্যোগে পরিণত হয়। Amader Kotha is a unique collaboration among three project partners: • Phulki • • A respected civil society organization working to improve the lives of workers and their families in Bangladesh. • Clear Voice • • A project of The Cahn Group that operates hotlines and builds effective grievance mechanisms in supply chains. • ELEVATE • • The parent company of Laborlink, a leading business risk and sustainability solutions provider.
