Americans for Medical Progress (AMP) is dedicated to ensuring that vital medical advances continue to be made. We are a team of subject-matter experts working to build public appreciation and support for essential biomedical research, especially humane animal-based research: • Advocate for Research: Inform and encourage individuals to understand and speak up in support of vital research globally. • Build Public Appreciation: Highlight the crucial role of humane animal-based research in discovery. • Counter Misinformation: Stand strong against those who seek to block medical progress: • Cutting-Edge News & Analysis: Provide insights on activist threats to biomedical research through the AMP News Service. • Strategic Consultations: Offer confidential guidance on security, public affairs, and crisis management. • Media Advocacy: Promote fair and accurate media coverage of responsible animal-based research and high animal care standards. • Innovative Education Programs: Inspire and inform new research advocates, including through the Curious Science Writers Program and Fellowships for outreach and communications. • Collaborative Partnerships: Share resources and work with other advocacy groups to address critical concerns in biomedical research.
