AMI Training Centers in the USA provide high-quality training for Montessori teachers as well as resources and advice for schools and local communities. There are currently 13 Centers around the country producing over 400 graduates a year. Several Centers provide satellite courses in locations to help widen and deepen accessibility. Courses available included face to face and blended options. All Centers are directly associated with Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) whose global network empowers teachers and communities through the holistic approach of Maria Montessori, helping all children become truly capable and productive individuals by focusing on their moral, behavioral, emotional, and intellectual development. Founded by Maria Montessori herself, AMI is the steward of the Montessori educational approach and works to ensure it remains contemporary and aligned with current insights in child development and education. In addition to preparing adults as lead guides for the Montessori classroom there are a range of courses available including Montessori Sports, Montessori for Ageing and Dementia and administrator courses.
