Ams Alumni Association

The aims and objectives for which the Society is established are as under: a) The purpose of the Society is to build a global association, inclusive of all the alumni of Al-Murtaza School on the fine principles of friendship, cooperation, integrity, professionalism and social responsibility. b) To inspire the alumni of Al-Murtaza School to engage and interact constantly with one another and with the faculty and students of Al-Murtaza School and undertake activities for mutual advancement of the school & the society. c) To connect the local and international alumni of Al-Murtaza School in every field and country and work for knowledge advancement, sharing of resources and professional development; and d) To plan, develop, implement or assist in creating awareness and advocate through training programs, seminars, support network, symposiums and other activities on society & community problems and issues and outline possible solutions. More specifically its objectives are: i) To act as resource hub and platform for persons, groups or organizations to provide training and development opportunities as well as to conduct research, collect data and disseminate information about society as well as community problems and issues and their possible solutions; ii) To plan and implement various projects and activities to strengthen the governance, management, operations and programmes with the objectives of inviting, recognizing, affiliating and providing a common platform for individuals, civil society groups, network support organizations as well so as to encourage social, cultural and healthy activities; To introduce and launch and to form a committee / committees, sub-committees to actively volunteer and review ideas and share, contribute and extend campaign for strategy, dialogue, good governance, management, operations and providing assistance, help, and support in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Commerce, Art, Sports, media & various others and for transformation of existing facilities for revival, up-gradation, where necessary, with the collaboration, assistance and support of Individuals, Al-Murtaza School, Welfare societies & public sector organizations; iv) To collect and disseminate reliable data and information about the community problems and to outline working plan to address the main objectives of social, cultural and traditional activities and responsibilities; v) To create mass awareness about the issues and challenges faced by the society, the community and organizations working for them; vi) To create linkages among Students & Alumni of Al-Murtaza School with organizations, business entrepreneurs and media and to form partnerships with a range of stakeholders including the private and business sectors, media and any other relevant stakeholders; vii) To publish and distribute books, pamphlets, periodicals, literature, and other printed matter as well as use electronic media such as web-sites, TV, radio etc. to disseminate reliable communication and other information concerning the above mentioned objectives; To facilitate resource mobilizations for organizations as well as the Network group to effectively implement the above objectives; and ix) To undertake any other activity necessary to achieve the above objectives within the ambit and framework of the law of the land for the time being enforced.
