Andra M. Popa Studio

I am currently working on a project that expresses patient experiences in health care settings through photography, drawing, painting, designed objects, and written work. To prepare and research this project, I volunteered in clinical settings with pediatric patients to facilitate their own art projects, obtained a certificate in Child Life, helped as a researcher in a brain tumor clinic, and I apply my compliance work in clinical research. As part of this project, I was invited to contribute a hand painted mural to a children's hospital, created objects for a hospital, and created videos from Antarctica and the Arctic for a children's hospital. The studio also works in country cottage experiences on an island in the middle of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
