As new pockets of innovation are emerging across the United States, traditional economic development strategies need to be revamped. Regional Communities are looking for ways to demonstrate they have local entrepreneurial expertise and the financial firepower to fund companies, create jobs, and generate wealth. An Angel Conference is a winner-take-all pitch event where 20 to 50 active angel investors pool their money to make an investment in one company on a specific day. Entrepreneurs get access to workshops and mentors to help them prepare, and investors spend several months reviewing the deals and getting to know the entrepreneurs. AngelGen was started in 2020 as a response to these needs. The AngelGen team has hosted a number of angel conferences on the West Coast, preparing entrepreneurs to pitch to investors, as well as successfully delivering on engaging individuals to become new angel investors in their community. AngelGen believes communities everywhere already have the next generation of ideas, leaders, jobs, and capital to launch and scale new ventures. We will train you as the Angel Conference Organizer to help you showcase your home grown economic development horizon to your Business Community.
