Annie Marshall Editing

Annie Marshall Editing is a new company launched in April 2018. My decision to start a freelance editing business was based on several successful years as an academic librarian (the last years in upper management) and a few subsequent years working as an administrator for a small engineering company doing proofreading, copyediting, contract review, and writing correspondence and marketing flyers. Although my proofreading, grammar, and punctuation were always solid, I did not have any professional training in copyediting. In order to close any gaps in this area, I completed the Copyediting Certificate program through the University of California San Diego Extension program. I look forward to working with all levels of authors to help them polish their work so it is presented in the most comprehensive and professional manner to their audience.
