Antonello&montesi

Philippe Antonello was born in Geneva where he first studied art. After several professional experiences in Switzerland, France and England, he's come to Italy and Rome, where he's had the opportunity to work as a stage photographer with some known film directors such as Nanni Moretti, Silvio Soldini, Mel Gibson and Wes Anderson among others. In parai lei, he has continued to develop artistic projects and has held exhibits in several galleries. Stefano C. Montesi was born in Rome, although he first became active in Milan as a photographer. Making mostly portraits at first, he has photographed many national and international film stars. His 50x60 Polaroid have been exhibited at the Berlin and Venice film festivals and his images have been on the covers of magazines like Vanity Fair, A, Sight & Sound, Glamour, lo Donna. In 2010, Antonello & Montesi decided to start collaborating and started up the 3D project. Together, they produced: six covers for the magazine Sette (Corriere della Sera) for the 67th Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica di Venezia (2010), the exhibit GEND3ER at the international contemporary art museum of Spoleto (2010), one of the final proposals for the International Laguna Art Price (2011), the Ypsilon project exhibited at the Umbria for the modern art biennial retrospective (Palazzo Collicola, Spoleto, 2011), various advertising projects and, last but not least, the exhibit The 3Dimensions of cinema (actor's portraits) for the 69th Mostra Internazionale d'Arte Cinematografica di Venezia (2012).
