Arkode Games

Arkode is a games development brand under which I (Joshua Ellis) develop my game projects in the event of a full release. The brand was established in 2019, with the development of simple and accessible sandbox games. My lead demo (code-named IsoEngine) is a sandbox game based on a simplified version of Halo's forge mode with a hint of Garry's mod and Minecraft. It features a powerful voxel editor, custom UE4 content designer tools, a low-poly art style, and a simulated AI ecosystem. To fully realize the vision for a full release, the tech needs to be re-worked and I'm excited to share more when the project is rebooted. In addition to my work, I aim to empower other creators and developers through communities on YouTube and Discord. Our YouTube content is designed to highlight the realities of game development and offer instructional content to help others. Our Discord community is an all-in-one developer hub, designed to network developers from all disciplines and accelerate their careers or hobbies.
