Artificial Museum

Artificial Museum Augmenting the world with new ideas for change and shaping the cultural heritage of the future. Our mission is to create, procure, research, disseminate and preserve art in public space. We challenge the status quo and redefine the concept of ‘museum’ by rethinking the question: What is art and who perceives it? With the Artificial Museum we promote the reoccupation of public space through a decentralized platform based on augmented reality that makes gps-anchored artifacts of digital art accessible to everyone. Both at home and abroad – even on the moon. The architecture of the Artificial Museum is continuously expanded and perpetuated through public participation. As it is an accessible platform for both design and participation, it has been able to implement numerous projects in the past 3 years, from exhibitions all over the world to workshops on AR in universities and the rethinking of museums and monuments. The constant further development is not only reflected in various successful research projects, but also in developments such as the ARM Editor, which will be released at the end of 2024.
