Aswan Forum

Under the auspices of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt is initiating the "Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development" as the first of its kind platform to address the interlinkages between development, peace and security. The Forum brings together heads of state and governments, leaders from national governments, regional and international organizations and financial institutions, the private sector and civil society, as well as visionaries, scholars and prominent experts for a context-specific, forward-looking and action-oriented discussion on the opportunities, threats and challenges facing Africa.
