Authentic Collaboration

THE POWER OF COLLABORATION coming Fall, 2026 (Bloomsbury) 86% of employees in leadership positions blame “lack of collaboration as the top reason for workplace failures.” (Zippia, 2023). In 2024, TeamStage reported “three-quarters of employers see collaboration as an important factor that significantly impacts the company’s success.” Another survey by Adalyon states, “93% of companies report a need to improve collaboration within their organization.” For the last 15 years companies have been spending more than $33 billion to solve collaboration but survey after survey show it's getting worse. We believe businesses are spending billions on a problem they don't understand. Collaboration is not a behavior - it's a collection of behaviors that work together for very specific reasons. When you know the ingredients, the recipe is easy and the results exponential. We designed, and now teach, a method of collaboration that leaders can use to make themselves and their organization more successful in their industries and make their people happier at work. Our work is based on practical and personal lessons we learned at Disney, and other Fortune companies, that we have fine-tuned into a roadmap for growth-minded leaders who want to turn their teams into high-performance and happy contributors. Neuroscience and social science support our method, and corporate metrics (from better ROI and less turnover, to project growth and more promotions) validate it.
