BADEL 1862 is the leading Croatian privately owned spirit and wine company with headquarters, R&D and bottling plant in Zagreb while our three wineries are located in picturesque towns of Daruvar, Križevci and Benkovac. Badel 1862 was established in 1862 in Croatia, when Franjo Pokorny, the first owner, entrepreneur, trader and master distiller revolutionized the spirits industry by creating Croatia's first and most renowned herbal liqueur Pelinkovac Antuque. Since then, our company has grown to include an impressive portfolio of more than 200 brands and labels. What unites us and makes our company such an exciting place to work is our collective passion for building brands that people love.
