Vina Jakob started in and in these 15 years of existence we have become recognized as winery who produces premium wines and offers to wine lovers unique and special wine. Production of bottles per year is important to us because of complete control over all processes and to maintain exclusivity of our wine on market. Vina Jakob are a family company with the goal to produce premium wines for a bust buy price. The direction in which our wine is going is determined with success of certain sorts and the whole process is under careful attention. Because of successful harvets in the 2012 we decided to put on market with our standard cuvee blend, new bottle with one sort with what we want to approach the culture of wine to wider clientele, primarily to young people. Jakob Cuvee 2009 won golden medel in Bergamo Italy for the best red wine and special recognition from Decanter in 2015. Jakob Cuvee 2012 won a golden medel on the first Croatina national wine competition organized by Croatian chamber of Economy, held in November 2015. Very important for us is the development of our wines. So we use DIAM cork, which gives us the certainty that the wine can aged more than 10 years and to allow them safe development.

Litterarii Winery

Litterarii places its viticulture and wine production in the Nespeš manor house, built in 1794 as a country estate. Wine has been produced in the cellar of the Nespeš manor house since ancient times - the manor often changed owners, but wine production never ceased, even when the manor house was converted into a primary school after the Second World War. Our wines are made in the best position - Zelina Prigorje is located on the 45th parallel, as well as many of the most respected wine-growing regions in the world - Piedmont, Val du Rhone, Bordeaux, Oregon, and others, so it is no wonder that local wines are so richly aromatic. The vineyards of the Litterarii winery are located on the southern slopes of Medvednica at altitudes of 190 to 220 meters, with plenty of sun ensured by their perfect position. The vineyards were planted in 1989 with varieties of exceptional potential dominated by Chardonnay, Grüner Silvaner, Rhein Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The exposition and position of the vineyards, with the superior maturity of the plantations and ideal climatic conditions, make this terroir unique on the wine map of continental Croatia.

Brač is unique and well-known owing to its white stone and its artists. Brač is the birthplace of many famous Croatian poets, novelists, sculptors, and painters. The stone is the source of inspiration because of its beauty, but it is also the symbol of everyday hardship involved in top-quality wine growing. Therefore, the name Stina meaning stone was chosen because it is one of the symbols of the island. Mons Aureus ili Zlatna planina proteže se od istočne granice Hrvatske - od Dunava - sve do samog srca Baranje. Već samo ime govori zašto su ga Rimljani tako nazvali - uz prekrasne poglede na sjever i Mađarsku i na nepregledna polja i šume prema jugu Baranje, otkrili su da je ovo brdo stvoreno za uzgoj vinove loze. U posjedu imamo 14 hektara vinograda. Orijentirali smo se na 4 sorte – neizostavnu baranjsku Graševinu, kralja crnih vina Cabernet Sauvignon, Sivi Pinot i Merlot. Težimo proizvodnji vina koja odražavaju njihovo podrijetlo, što znači da pokazuju osobine regija i vinogradarskih nalazišta odakle je voće dobiveno. Naše vinarske tehnike osmišljene su da pojačaju, a ne ometaju prirodne okuse voća u našim vinima. Dvije riječi koje ćete često čuti da opišu našu tehniku proizvodnje vina su “nježna” i “neintervencionistička”. Edivo Wines

Drače is a small village between Ston and Orebić, in the middle of the Pelješac peninsula. It is the place where our story begins. Pelješac is well known as a peninsula with fine vineyards and many excellent varieties of wine, famous all over the world. One of them is Dingač, known as the king of Croatian wines. 2011 was the year when we made the first wine and decided to make it unique. We came up with the idea of immersing bottles and amphorae under the sea, but it took time to check many things and explore possibilities. First, amphorae were submerged in late 2013 and early 2014. Researching whether it is even possible to do something like that, we started in several different locations around the peninsula of Pelješac.
