Baitul Hikmah Library

The Baitul Hikmah Library is a library located at UGM campus mosque. The Baitul Hikmah Library has great aspirations to become the Exemplary Mosque Library in Jogjakarta and the Best Mosque Library in Indonesia. We began to realize this goal with a variety of actions, ranging from routine discussions to the provision of the book itself. Our program consists of at least: Discussion and Virtual Learning Groups (using WhatsApp) Establish networks with various elements of society, mosques, etc. Virtualization, audios, and radio Books (cooming soon) Regular / thematic discussion / book review Starting from October 2017, the library has reviewed several book titles. Just mention Muqadimmah (Ibn Khaldun), Hakadza Dzahara Jil Saladin wa Hakadza ‘Al Quds (Majid Irsan Kailani), or the Rising Crescent on the Banyan Tree (Mitsuo Nakamura). Provision of library books is weighed in various themes / categories. Among these categories are Islamic Studies (such as aqeedah, fiqh, akhlaq, hadith qur'an, and da'wah), Manhaj (such as NU, Muhammadiyah, Persis, Hidayatullah, HTI, IM, etc.), Siyasiyah and Islamic Science (such as politics, economics, psychology, law, medicine, science in an Islamic perspective), as well as History, Biography, and Civilization. Until now we have had no less than 2500 books, thousands of members, dozens of administrators, and various kinds of activities aimed at supporting the process of education, research, and community service in campus life.
