Baitul Hikmah Library
The Baitul Hikmah Library is a library located at UGM campus mosque. The Baitul Hikmah Library has great aspirations to become the Exemplary Mosque Library in Jogjakarta and the Best Mosque Library in Indonesia. We began to realize this goal with a variety of actions, ranging from routine discussions to the provision of the book itself. Our program consists of at least: Discussion and Virtual Learning Groups (using WhatsApp) Establish networks with various elements of society, mosques, etc. Virtualization, audios, and radio Books (cooming soon) Regular / thematic discussion / book review Starting from October 2017, the library has reviewed several book titles. Just mention Muqadimmah (Ibn Khaldun), Hakadza Dzahara Jil Saladin wa Hakadza ‘Al Quds (Majid Irsan Kailani), or the Rising Crescent on the Banyan Tree (Mitsuo Nakamura). Provision of library books is weighed in various themes / categories. Among these categories are Islamic Studies (such as aqeedah, fiqh, akhlaq, hadith qur'an, and da'wah), Manhaj (such as NU, Muhammadiyah, Persis, Hidayatullah, HTI, IM, etc.), Siyasiyah and Islamic Science (such as politics, economics, psychology, law, medicine, science in an Islamic perspective), as well as History, Biography, and Civilization. Until now we have had no less than 2500 books, thousands of members, dozens of administrators, and various kinds of activities aimed at supporting the process of education, research, and community service in campus life.

Katakerja
Katakerja is a member organization of the Ininnawa Community that is engaged in literacy campaigns. Katakerja as a literacy community then exists to broaden the simplification of the problem by doing the following: First, opening a library that is easily accessible to many people from various circles. Because, Katakerja believes that it is not the low reading interest, but the lack of public access to books. Second, responding to the meaning of literacy widely, Katakerja does not merely deal with issues of books and reading, but also conducts literacy activities in other fields such as music, film, and other cultural studies. Third, Katakerja believes that the most important of all activities are human and humanity in the various activities.

Keberadaan perpustakaan sejak berdirinya Fakultas Tarbiyah Malang Cabang IAIN Sunan Kalijaga Tahun 1961. Saat ini Perpustakaan menempati Gedung tersendiri seluas 8840 M2 yang terdiri dari 4 lantai yaitu lantai dasar (area parkir), lantai 1 (area sosial), lantai 2 (area riset), dan lantai 4 (area koleksi). Dalam perkembangannya, berbagai ikhtiar dilakukan oleh perpustakaan untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik bagi sivitas akademika dan untuk mendukung tercapai mimpi besar universitas yang telah ditetapkan dalam visi, misi, dan tujuan UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Ikhtiar ini meliputi peningkatan dan perbaikan kualitas layanan melalui peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas sumber daya manusia, layanan dan fasilitas perpustakaan. Wujud dari ikhtiar dan komitmen perpustakaan untuk melakukan perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas layanan, di antaranya, telah berhasil dua kali terakreditasi A yaitu periode akreditasi (2017-2020) dan (2020-2025). Selain itu, ikhtiar lain adalah memperluas jejaring melalui kerjasama antar perpustakaan, asosiasi perpustakaan tingkat nasional dan internasional. Sejak 2021, perpustakaan UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang menjadi anggota IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) dan IATUL (International Association of University Libraries).

Undang-undang Nomor 43 Tahun 2007 tentang Perpustakaan menyatakan bahwa Perpustakaan Nasional merupakan Lembaga Pemerintah Non Kementerian (LPNK). Dalam mengemban tugas, Perpustakaan Nasional memiliki fungsi sebagai perpustakaan pembina semua jenis perpustakaan di Indonesia (perpustakaan umum, perpustakaan sekolah, perpustakaan perguruan tinggi, perpustakaan khusus), perpustakaan rujukan, perpustakaan deposit, perpustakaan penelitian, perpustakaan pelestarian dan pusat jejaring perpustakaan di Indonesia. Perpustakaan Nasional telah mendapat amanat Undang-Undang Nomor 4 Tahun 1990 tentang Serah-Simpan Karya Cetak dan Karya Rekam, yang diperbarui menjadi Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2018, Undang-Undang ini mengamanatkan Perpustakaan Nasional untuk mengelola kewajiban serah-simpan karya cetak dan karya rekam. Pengelolaan ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan koleksi nasional dan melestarikannya sebagai hasil budaya bangsa dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Sesuai tugas tersebut, Perpustakaan Nasional berfungsi sebagai repositori khazanah pengetahuan dan kebudayaan Indonesia. Selain itu, Perpustakaan Nasional dalam fungsinya sebagai perpustakaan pelestarian karya anak bangsa tidak hanya melestarikan karya cetak karya rekam tetapi juga melestarikan pemikiran/ide/gagasan pendiri bangsa Indonesia (founding fathers) tokoh Proklamator dengan membentuk kelembagaan Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno di Blitar dan Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Hatta di Bukit Tinggi. Omah Library
A look into OMAH Library, the self-funded facility by initiated in 2015 by architect Realrich Sjarief, provides a place for students and professionals with a thirst for architecture and design, to hone and ever-expand their knowledge via a vast collection of books and even seminars for the like-minded of this field. The organization is dedicated to producing knowledge through writing, researching, and publishing books. In the age of clicks, a trip to the library may seem like a foreign concept, but there’s something about the said place that can spark creativity like nowhere else. Hidden at Taman Villa Meruya hoping to jumpstart that spark is OMAH Library, a quiet sanctuary that carves a space for designers and architects by bringing more than books. A first of its kind, the library was created by Realrich Sajarief, the founder of RAW Architecture, of his own desire to gather with colleagues beyond the coffee shops and workplaces. What birthed is a library with tomes and volumes of architecture books and other genres, collected from the circle of friends and colleagues in the founder’s residential compound that houses his firm as well. OMAH has been through a lot of changes, but the vision of the library has always stayed the same: to help future generations of architects grow their skills and for professionals to master their careers. Discussions at OMAH Library explore various architectural discourses, retrospections, and interpretations. The topics discussed include Theory, Criticism, History, Method, and Curation of architecture, as well as intersections with other disciplines. The sessions are interactive and temporary, fostering two-way dialogues. From these conversations, a range of lectures and collaborations have emerged with diverse stakeholders, such as the Indonesian Architecture Archive Network (JAAI), various universities, and independent researchers.
