Balkan Based

Balkan Based is an organization formed by experienced freelancers and remote work specialists from all over the Balkan region. Specifically, core members of our team come from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, and Montenegro. Our goal is to solve two excruciating problems that plague almost every modern digital workspace. The first one is the issue of extremely ineffective and expensive staffing options for companies looking for remote employees. The second one is helping young and educated people from our region find appropriate work that offers competitive salaries. It's no secret that most local companies in economically underdeveloped countries offer extremely low compensation to their employees. These two groups of people have trouble finding each other, and sometimes they don't even know the other one exists. We can connect them and solve two problems at once. There aren't many similar organizations out there doing what we do, but what makes us completely unique is our coffee cup policy. We have, at the very least, sat down for a cup of coffee with every single individual in our employee database. It's important to us to be able to guarantee for people we work with. Similarly, we don't work with employers that have a bad track record regarding how they treat their employees.
