Ballet Boost

Here at Ballet Boost we aim to nurture and inspire the next generation of classical ballet dancers by equipping them with the technical and artistic skills required to achieve their full potential, realise their dreams and succeed in the modern dance world. Three key elements are at the core of everything we do: Artistry, Musicality and Technique. The pastoral care aspect of our training is very important. We believe it is key to unlocking the creativity, confidence and true talent of the young artists of today. We created Ballet Boost to provide an environment where dancers feel happy, both to explore and to challenge themselves, to ask questions, to make sure their corrections are thoroughly understood. We want them to be excited to look at their training in more depth. Ballet Boost was founded by Emma Northmore, who trained at English National Ballet School and danced as Soloist and Principal with the English National Ballet Company. Emma teaches Company classes to Matthew Bourne's New Adventures Company, Ballet Boyz, Viviane Durante. She is Rehearsal Director for Ballet Black and has taught Australian Ballet Company. Emma also teaches for the Royal Ballet Associates and English National Ballet as cover teacher. In addition to this, Emma is the founder of the Academy of Balletic Arts, a new vocational lower school in Covent Garden.
