Established in 1998, Bay Area Stretcher Bars has become the premier provider of artist stretcher bars. The company works with top, mid-level, and emerging artists, galleries and museums. We are attuned to our customers developing new ways to build better art supports as well as expanding into more art services. Our products are custom made based on individual specifications of each customer. Our products are primarily constructed using Bass Wood because of its hardwood characteristics, light weight, tight grain, and minimal imperfections.
