OFFICINE MECCANICHE BBM SPA was established in 1965 as a manufacturer of fabricated parts for the steel, energy and marine industries. We are currently working with the most important European companies in these fields. BBM’s mechanical division operates as a SUBCONTRACTOR by welding and machining single parts, ranging from sizes medium to large, along with complete machine assembly according to customer drawings and specifications. While our focus has been mainly on the steel industry since 1965, in the last years we have been more and more oriented to the energy, aerospace and automotive markets, supplying the main players worldwide. From our experience working in the heavy engineering sector, in 1987, we decided to expand our business by creating a “Railway Division”. Today, we are well-known all over the world and considered to be one of the leading companies in this sector. Our main products are- Presses - Bogie Testing Stands - Lifting and Handling Systems - Testing Equipment - Special Equipment Thanks to a highly qualified and committed staff, we are able to manage the entire manufacturing cycle. From design to final installation and after-sales service, we provide high-quality products and services tailored to suit customer requirements. Nowadays, with a production area of 6.600 m2, we employ more than 120 experienced staff members in both offices and workshop facilities. BBM is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, Green Energy Supply, ENWHP and our welding process is qualified according to UNI-EN-ISO 3834-2, EN 1090-2.
