Bertolini & Company Srl (B&C) was established in 2001 by three partners from different engineering businesses predominantly working in refinery flares and plant design. Thanks to 35 year-longed experience of its partners, B&C has a broad background in Chemical, Petrochemical and Power fields. During these years, B&C worked for many clients and projected some of the tallest flares in the world (200 mt. high). They were also some of the largest flaring capacity demountable flares considering the number and the diameter of the risers involved. All our projects are carried out using Finite Element Modelling resulting in an optimisation of the material and a minimisation of the structure self weight. Throughout our years of experience, B&C has widened its field of work and includes such studies as: Engineering for reinforced concrete and steel structures, Special foundations for turbines, compressors, pressure vessels and transfer lines. Particular attention was given to erection activity, especially in the refinery flare business. B&C has established a team of skilled erectors to supervise and erect the highest, most complex flares for which B&C is internationally recognised. Using advanced calculation and 3D design programmes, we are in the forefront in the area of structural engineering. We also guarantee to our clients more and more functional structures, during both erection and maintenance. Functionality, limitation of the self-weight, ease of assembly and operation are our daily goals.
