ISAB's refining, gasification and electricity cogeneration plants, included in the petrochemical of Priolo Gargallo (located in Sicily, between Catania and Syracuse), represent one of the largest industrial sites in Europe, both in terms of size and in terms of complexity, and consist of three production sites called "SOUTH Plants","NORTH Plants" and "IGCC Plant"(Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle), interconnected each other through a system of pipelines. The processing capacity of the refining plants is 320 thousand barrels per day, while the storage capacity is 4 million cubic meters of products and raw materials. The I.G.C.C. plant generates electric energy by means of a power station with a capacity of 532 MW, which uses as fuel the gas produced from the gasification of the TAR. The gasification plant allows to use one million tons/year of TAR generated by refinery plants, transforming it into synthesis gas, from which are extracted sulfur and other components. The gas, so purified, is then sent to a system of combined cycle turbines for the production of electricity and steam. The plant produces about 4 TWh/year of electric energy, representing 2% of the Italian national production. Today, the Refinery is in continuous evolution, with the construction of new facilities, improving the efficiency of existing ones, and this has made it possible to meet the challenges of the market, improving the quality of products and also decreasing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. As evidence of the above, the Refinery has obtained the certificates issued by independent third parties in accordance with the following international standards: ISO 14001:2004 for our Environmental Management System; BS OHSAS 18001:2007 for our Occupational Health and Safety Management System; ISO for our Energy Management System; ISO 9001:2015 for our supply by sea and storage of raw materials, blending and storage of finished products, products loading and shipping by sea and laboratory activities. Today over people are operating on these sites.

Beyfin opera nelle filiere del Gpl (bombole, piccoli serbatoi & reti canalizzate, autotrazione), dei Carburanti tradizionali (benzina e gasolio), del Metano Auto e delle Attività non oil. Nella combustione Beyfin gestisce tutti i momenti della filiera dell’energia: dall’approvvigionamento della materia prima allo stoccaggio, la movimentazione, il rifornimento, oltre che la realizzazione di scavi e il posizionamento di impianti ad hoc. Si occupa di tutte le procedure burocratiche necessarie per le autorizzazioni oltre all’erogazione e al rifornimento di energia a ville, condomini, agriturismi, aziende di varia tipologia oltre a baite e rifugi. Nell’autotrazione molteplice è la gamma dei servizi per la mobilità: dal rifornimento servito al self, dal controllo delle gomme ai servizi di lavaggio auto, dal bar ristoro all’officina. L’azienda guidata da Beatrice Niccolai, figlia del fondatore Luciano, è ad Gruppo Beyfin dal 26 maggio 2017. Nel febbraio del 2022 l’azienda è stata trasformata in Società Benefit, un cambio importante che ha visto inserire nello statuto il concetto di beneficio comune: un modo per allargare quell’orizzonte di responsabilità sociale che il gruppo, porta avanti nei territori dove è presente con la sua energia con il sostegno diretto a realtà solidali, sportive e culturali. The company is one of the oldest valve manufacturer in Italy. Since 1950 design and manufacture were concentrated on lubricated plug valves in standard and inverted pressure-balanced designs. For 40 years the company operated successfully improving its skills and capabilities, up to the beginning of the ‘90s when the company was liquidated due to market changes and the growing attention of the owners to forgings and ball valves production. In 1998 the activity found a new beginning with the name “La Valvomeccanica S.p.A.”, incorporated in Solbiate Olona (VA) as a public limited company specialized in small and medium ball valves. In the same year, “RMT Valves s.r.l.” was established in Voghera (PV), as a trading company supplying service to major worldwide Engineering & Construction companies for all types of on-off valves: ball, gate, globe, check, butterfly and plug. In 2008 the good collaboration between the two companies led to the merger of the two companies into “RMT Valvomeccanica s.r.l.”. RMT VALVOMECCANICA is included in the GIVA group, an Italian group founded by Mr. Antonio Vienna in 1962 in Northern Italy, which performed in 2008 a turnover exceeding 650 Million Euro. Actually the group includes steel mills, such as Italfond, and important forge masters, such as Forgiatura A.Vienna, which can supply big forgings up to 120 tons and shell rings up to 8 meters in diameter, with a wide range of materials.
