BioSparkED is an educational resource for high schoolers by high schoolers. Our mission is to inspire exploration of computational biology through easy access to learning resources and guidance. We want to make the field accessible and engaging for students with a basic understanding of biology. We offer a free course on the basics of computational biology and workshops that guide students through the practical application of bioinformatics tools. Additionally, we have a blog, Scientific Advancements, that offers easy-to-understand explanations of the most exciting advancements in the field, updated on a monthly basis.
