Black Oystercatcher

The Black Oystercatcher is a family-run wine farm at the cool southernmost tip of Africa. Our unique region crafts our cool-climate wines, creating penetrating fruit flavours, and a distinctive minerality. But we’re more than a winery: we’re a destination. We offer fresh farm-style snacks from our deli, as well as wood-fired pizza, both enjoyed on our veranda or in our venue. Enjoy a wine tasting and shop for local crafts and produce in our tasting room and gift shop. And stay over in our self-catering cottages overlooking the biodiversity-rich Agulhas Plain.
