Blockchain Learning Center

We care about creating a more fair world for everyone. We also believe that creating/empowering systems that are conducive to social, economic, and environmental good are at the very core of that mission. Tools being built on blockchain technology right now are suited very nicely for building parts of those systems. In concert with traditional tools, good planning, and good people; blockchain tools can be used to create more fair and democratic organizations. The reason blockchain is so helpful for building more fair systems is that blockchain is built using many of the same principles. Distributed systems help in making decisions in a decentralized way, very similar to the way a workers coop would or a community group that uses a simple direct democracy to make decisions. These systems become scalable with the technology being offered by blockchain. In order to show people the vast potential of blockchain tools we first need them to understand how they work and how to use them. We’re taking a research driven approach to this and talking to people. We use data to figure out where people are now and how we can produce the most effective teaching resources. We’ve already recorded hundreds of interactions and over questions that people have asked us about blockchain through our booth at the Arizona Science Center. With this data we are able to create very simple and straightforward infographics, courses, and teaching materials of all kinds that help to make these topics simple and relatable. We want people to see themselves using these technologies in all the helpful ways that are possible! By delivering this content to people in person at our booths, Blockchain Learning Center locations, and online we will be able to reach more people with our resources than is typically possible.
