EQUAL ACCESS TO THE CREATIVE ARTS Disabled adults do not have equal access to the creative arts – whether to perform, exhibit, enjoy, develop new skills or showcase their talents. AT BLOOMIN’ ARTS, WE CHANGE THAT! ’ provide accessible creative arts courses resulting in exciting projects offering learning and physically disabled adults opportunities within theatre production, media skills, drama, visual art and dance. Final projects are shared in the arts and local community, breaking down barriers and showcasing disabled talent. Through the provision of these projects and courses, an individual builds confidence, increases independent thought, and has opportunities to develop skills and explore ambitions. We know the journey is as important as the outcome. ’ encourage and support the impact creative arts have on an individual’s mental and physical health, and in reducing isolation.
