A Retired Solution Architect having worked for 38 years in the Insurance sector. Now working for myself as a Domestic Electrician helping a local Church and local Charity as Technical Trustee. In the past if have:* thrived on developing integration architectures to support the business need in a simple way but one which allows the for future growth. I like to think that I can think outside the box but still deliver solutions which are scalable and fit for the clients need. Having worked in many different technologies over the years, new technologies are not a challenge. I have experience in working with:* Java development running on both IBM WebSphere and Spring Microservice architectures as an architect supporting the performance and penetration testing.* Application and Company integrations using different types of Messaging technologies like MQ and Rest services and BACS.* Application Database design for large databases running on DB2.* Worked with different security Architectures including Digital Certification authentications for applications and users.* Worked with different styles of project development life cycles inc Waterfall and Agile.* Working alongside Dev Ops engineers helping to upgrade old legacy processes.* IBM Mainframe development in languages like SAS, PL/1, and Cobol along with Legacy Databases like IMS and security products like ACF/2.
