The fertile land in the Bonnievale valley boasts a variety of geology, geography and climate, creating a varied terrain that is evident in the grapes produced here. The area extends to within 100km from the ocean and includes two rivers and hills and mountains that offers a variety of slopes and micro-climates. Bonnievale Wines’ wine makers get to play with this rich palate, picking and choosing from the treasure chest of terroir potential. With the strict policy of ‘only bottling the best’, Bonnievale Wines has managed to establish a reputation for consistently over-delivering on quality. Export growth stems both from an expanded business with long standing customers, and from new customer business. Exporting approximately one third of its total production per year has helped us hone our export logistics service into a valuable business asset.
