We are a Black family-owned wine company based in Maryland, dedicated to honoring our roots and creating a legacy that extends beyond our family. Our passion for entrepreneurship and community impact, instilled by our parents and grandparents, has inspired us to embark on this journey. At Boyd Cru Wines, we believe that wine is a universal language, speaking to each individual in a unique way. Our wines are locally grown in Maryland, using sustainable practices that respect our environment. They embody the essence of joy, vibrancy, and liberation. We pride ourselves on building a community and telling a compelling story through our wines. Our journey began in April 2023, driven by the innovative spirit and historical achievements of our ancestors. Despite the lack of diversity in the wine industry, we drew strength from their accomplishments, paving the way for us to launch our wine company. Our ultimate vision is to establish a standalone vineyard with a community marketplace and incubator for aspiring entrepreneurs and small businesses. We aim to provide them with a nurturing environment, support, and a place they can call home until they are ready to establish their own brick-and-mortar ventures, just as we have done. Community, culture, and connection form the bedrock of our legacy.
