WELCOME TO BRANTWOOD CAMP Brantwood Camp enrolls campers who are between the ages of 10 and 15 from Boston, New York City, Jersey City, Hartford, and urban areas of New Hampshire who might not otherwise have an opportunity to attend summer camp regardless of their ability to pay. MISSION & PHILOSOPHY Brantwood Camp provides a fun, positive summer experience for campers – from a variety of backgrounds – who would not otherwise have had the opportunity. A non profit camp that has been operating for over 100 years, our goal is to give as many kids as possible the chance to experience camp, regardless of their ability to pay. The Goals of Brantwood Camp are- Foster personal growth through the values and standards that are expressed by the traditional Five Brantwood Ideals: Honesty, Loyalty, Cooperation, Good Sportsmanship, and Unselfishness- Promote social adjustment and mutual respect among a diverse group through a challenging and competitive program- Develop character, confidence, and independence physically, intellectually, and emotionally. Brantwood Camp offers separate camp facilities for boys and girls on 400+ acres. Campers live in comfortable cabins with bathrooms and share indoor and outdoor recreation space, a nature center, swimming pool, and spacious activity fields. The daily activities at Brantwood Camp are carefully structured around our philosophy of honesty, loyalty, cooperation, good sportsmanship, and unselfishness. Our activities get campers to live, think, and act responsibly, with self-reliance and self-esteem. Each day, campers follow a schedule that includes three meals, six activity periods, camp duties, chapel with inspirational talk, evening campfires and sing-alongs, and rest periods.
