I worked at the French Film Archive as a fashion photographer, a software engineer at libraries, marketing for Apple and Philips, and Amazon, built five start-ups in Silicon Valley and have been teaching in business and academia in Europe and the US since the mid-80s. And all of this came about because I kept asking the question, “What’s next for me?” and, most importantly, “Why am I doing all this?” I never stopped asking myself that question, and that’s where I found achievement and fulfillment in my life. And that’s when I realized. it’s not about work/life balance but about work-life integration.
