Bukemlab

Bukem Lab offers imaging of biological tissues and cells with micrometer resolution. Our research topics also cover the use of new and biocompatible contrast agents such as quantum dots, in imaging tissues ranging from brain to colon. We are mainly focused on enhancing conventional medical imaging methods and also on developing new techniques for diagnosis. We are using the facilities provided by Acıbadem University and also by the Medical Imaging Laboratory in the Department of Physics at Bogazici University. Our collaborators are primarily from our university's Medical Faculty, Engineering Faculty, and Pharmacy Faculty together with many research hospitals. We are a dynamic group that consists of students from the basic science, engineering, pharmacy, and medicine departments.
