Sankara carries out studies and projects for the development and commercialization of standardized products with natural origin in functional products and herbal extracts in different derivatives. The product portfolio includes functional food group, food extracts (supplements), and ground products formed by mixes obtained from plant sources with a high polyphenol ratio. We owe our greatest strength in the product and product diversity created to the plant diversity spread to different geographies of our country. The trained manpower working in the R&D and P&D laboratories of Sankara, TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB etc. It provides services by continuing to strengthen and diversify with the project design method such as, as well as University and Industry cooperation programs. Our center is planning to provide consultancy and training services on the research of natural and herbal products; In line with the results obtained, it is also capable of conducting R&D activities aimed at developing patentable products. The National Magnetic Resonance Research Center (UMRAM) has been established in May 2009 at Bilkent-Cyberpark with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Development. The mission of UMRAM is to promote, facilitate and conduct research on magnetic resonance imaging. The facilities include a Siemens MAGNETOM Trio A Tim System MR Scanner with a static magnetic field of 3 tesla, and a POLYSTAR Angiography machine, which are solely dedicated to research, as well as animal research, electronics and psychophysics laboratories. UMRAM brings together an interdisciplinary group of investigators to study and use the technology of magnetic resonance imaging. Currently the center consists of three research groups: Biomedical Engineering, Radiology Research and Cognitive Neuroscience. UMRAM has an open access policy of use, i.e. it is open to researchers who would like to use the facilities, and can provide staff support for data collection.
