Burnie Works

Burnie Works is a community collective making change in the areas of education, employment, justice, and family wellbeing and is funded by Stronger Places, Stronger People – implemented by the Australian Government, Department of Social Services in partnership with state and territory governments and 10 communities across Australia. The longer-term goal of Stronger Places, Stronger People is to interrupt the intergenerational cycle of disadvantage that is concentrated in particular communities around Australia, including Burnie in North West Tasmania.
