Camp Wojtyla

Mission: Through an authentic encounter with creation, Camp Wojtyla aims to awaken in young people a full relationship with God, shaping their relationships with themselves, others, and creation. Camp Wojtyla is a Catholic adventure program which was launched by FOCUS (The Fellowship of Catholic University Students) and holds week-long camps for middle school and high school students. Camp Wojtyla also serves college students who form the counselor staff and participate in the leadership training program for two months during the summer. Camp Wojtyla takes students into the heart of the outdoors to teach about the Catholic faith through things like mountaineering, rock climbing, rafting, and outdoor cooking and is dedicated to evangelizing youth through the beauty of the sacraments and of creation.
