Archdiocese Of Philadelphia
We, the faithful of the Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia in communion with our Holy Father, shepherd of the universal Church, and our Archbishop, shepherd of the Church in Philadelphia, proclaim to everyone the Good News that Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, who offers to all who follow Him the light of life. Baptized into Christ Jesus and confirmed by the gift of the Holy Spirit, we desire to share this Light with all by proclaiming the Gospel of forgiveness and reconciliation to every person. We are one in our Church’s teachings and in the variety of the gifts, services and ministries that we employ to help build up the Kingdom of God. We therefore commit ourselves to: • Worship God in spirit and truth through “prayer without ceasing", and particularly through the celebration of the Eucharist and the other sacraments of the Church; • Create and nourish Christian community in the domestic church of the family, in the life of every parish, and in society as a whole; • Proclaim in word and deed the Good News of Jesus Christ to all persons, inviting each of our sisters and brothers in the human community to share our faith and our mission; • Teach the saving message of Christ so that all believers may come to deeper understanding, conversion and personal witness to Christ; • Serve all our sisters and brothers, particularly the poor and needy, by generous acts of charity and by working together with all people of good will for justice and peace. We pray to Father, Son and Holy Spirit, through the intercession of Mary, the Immaculate Conception, to whose care the Archdiocese is consecrated, and through Saints Peter and Paul, the Archdiocesan patron. May the Lord of Light guide us in our earthly journey and to our heavenly home.

Archdiocese Of Chicago
The Archdiocese of Chicago, the third largest archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, serves more than 2.2 million Catholics in 221 parishes. Pastored by Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, the ninth Archbishop of Chicago since 2014, the archdiocese has more than employees in its systems and ministries. The Archdiocese of Chicago offers excellent Catholic school education through one of the largest U.S. private school systems – the Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools. Our school system leads the nation in receiving the most Blue Ribbon Awards of Excellence in Education. Among the archdiocesan organizations is Catholic Charities, the region's largest nonprofit social service agency assisting 1 million people in need in Cook and Lake Counties every year. Over the decades, our local church has introduced groundbreaking efforts such as Pastoral Migratoria, a parish-based, immigrant-to-immigrant ministry that is expanding nationally. The program aims to empower immigrants in participating in their communities through service, leadership formation and action, while promoting justice. As part of Pope Francis’ vision of the mission of the Church, Cardinal Cupich launched a violence prevention initiative to increase the capacity and reach of current programs that address the root causes of violence in Chicago and to identify and actively seek collaboration with like-purposed organizations. The Archdiocese of Chicago offers a variety of career opportunities that support the mission of the Catholic Church: To know Jesus Christ and to make Jesus Christ known, with a particular focus on Renew My Church, an initiative devoted to making new disciples, building up communities and inspiring witness to Christ’s presence in the world. Scientology Religion
The Code of a Scientologist requires every Scientologist to make a solemn commitment to benefit others:"As a Scientologist, I pledge myself to the Code of Scientology for the good of all. To use the best I know of Scientology to the best of my ability; to help my family, friends, groups and the world. To make this world a saner better place." Churches of Scientology and their parishioners carry out and support many humanitarian initiatives and affiliated social betterment programs. Where there is a need for assistance in improving conditions, the Church of Scientology and its members step in. The scope of the activities is limitless—from caring for the environment to looking after the elderly and raising funds for worthy charitable causes. Of particular address is the global devastation and human misery wrought by drug abuse, illiteracy and moral decay—to say nothing of natural and man-made disasters. They threaten to rip the social fabric to shreds and in many parts of the world these societal ills have already caused irreparable damage. Further, and to realize Scientology’s greater humanitarian objective, the Church has made readily available, easily assimilated and rapidly distributable multimedia tools to raise awareness, educate and activate millions. The goal is at once bold and ambitious: to resolve broad planetary ills and arrest a creeping cultural decline, all while uplifting society by instilling commonly shared values. Each campaign is founded on the proposition that education is the cornerstone of change. They acknowledge that only when truly informed can individuals make lasting and transformative decisions to live drug-free, ethical, respectful lives in harmony with their loved ones and neighbors. Inspired by the words of L. Ron Hubbard that “a being is only as valuable as he can serve others,” Scientologists assume responsibility not only for self and family, but also for the larger community.
