Established in 2009, Caramel Group is a Dubai-based hospitality development and management company. Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Caramel Group is a hospitality development and management company founded by Mohammed Al Hashimi in 2009. The Caramel Group portfolio currently includes flagship venue, Caramel Restaurant & Lounge - Dubai, which opened at the heart of the Dubai International Financial Centre in March 2010. The unprecedented success of Caramel Dubai, saw a natural progression for the brand to open its second venue in the U.A.E. capital, Abu Dhabi the following year. Caramel Group has now assumed operations of two existing Al Zaman Hospitality owned properties namely Indian fine-dining restaurant The Indus, in the Royal Opera House Muscat, as well as contemporary Arabic beachfront property, Moorish. With both companies now enjoying the prosperous launch of Caramel in Muscat, neighboring The Indus, plans are already being made for the inception of new dining concepts in Muscat as well as for future projects internationally.
