CareerCatchers empowers individuals facing systemic barriers to achieve lasting economic mobility through compassionate, personalized career support. Since receiving our first operating grant in 2008 and becoming a 501(c)(3) in 2009, we’ve helped more than underserved residents of Montgomery County build stability, confidence, and meaningful careers. We serve domestic violence survivors, immigrants, individuals experiencing homelessness, and others navigating significant employment challenges. With your support in 2024, CareerCatchers served over 1,100 clients, including 530 who received intensive services. We delivered 4,600 one-on-one coaching sessions and 170 career-focused workshops, leading to 250 job placements and $10 million in new income for families in our community. Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that every person comes to us with strengths, talent, and potential. Through individualized coaching, job readiness training, digital skills development, sector-focused guidance, and ongoing retention support, we help clients replace the uncertainty of unemployment with connection, stability, and opportunity. Many continue returning to us after their first job to advance further up the career ladder. With the dedication of our coaches, volunteers, employer partners, and donors, CareerCatchers helps neighbors achieve lasting economic mobility and strengthens our community one job at a time.
