Catherine Raynes Studio

I travel New England seeking to capture it's beauty on canvas. I am most inspired by the effects of light—whether it be a richly colored summer sunset or the muted tones emanating from a misty fog bank. I hope to draw the viewer in so they too feel the moment, as if they were beside me as I painted it. I am represented at galleries throughout New England and have been in numerous solo and joint exhibitions. My work is published in several books and magazines and has been displayed at the New Hampshire State House. I've been featured on NHPTVs Windows to the Wild. My work has been accepted through many juried exhibitions including the prestigious Hudson Valley Art Associations Annual Exhibition.
