Since Companhia das Quintas has been a reference in the production and sale of wines, sparkling wines, liqueurs and spirits in Portugal, with exports to more than 25 countries and a strong presence in the national market. We are delighted to announce the acquisition of the Companhia das Quintas brands by Caves Vice-Rei, a company owned by the Sarmento family. Previously based in the United States, the family has a prominent operation there and over 40 years of experience in the import and distribution of wines and spirits. Caves Vice-Rei will continue the brands developed by Companhia das Quintas, in addition to incorporating the brands that have been produced since 1931, preserving the tradition of excellence and proximity that they have cultivated over the years.
