Loco sources all it’s coffee directly from small local farms and builds a relationship with these farmers by meeting their families and learning the challenges they face in growing, harvesting and processing the coffee. Loco hopes to be able to address these problems in cooperation with the farmers, and be able to improve the quality and yield of their produce and in turn create a sustainable relationship where everybody wins. Loco’s flagship product is Cold Brew Coffee—a process that does not expose the beans to heat, making it less acidic and sweeter. It also forgoes using electricity and expensive equipment making it a more feasible business idea with a cheaper start-up cost than most coffee shops/stalls.
