CelebrateMercy was founded in February 2010. Its aim is to teach the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, through online webcasts, campaigns, events, and social media. Within three weeks of CelebrateMercy's founding, it launched its first webcast, broadcasted to viewers from 78 countries. It's webcasts now reach viewers in nearly 100 countries, with its social media channels reaching hundreds of thousands worldwide. It also aims to dispel many stereotypes and misconceptions about Islam.
