Cer-Migracions
CER-Migracions is an inter-University and interdisciplinary research centre focused on the study of international migrations. The CER-M consists of three research groups with consolidated personnel and pre-doctoral researchers GEDIME (Study group on immigration and Ethnic Minorities), linked to the Department of Sociology at UAB, and coordinated by Dr. Sònia Parella. GESDI (Study Group on Immigrant Rights), linked to the Observatory on Public Law (IDP)).at UB, coordinated by Dr. David Moya. EMIGRA, research group in Education Anthropology, linked to the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, the Department of Systematic and Social Pedagogy, and the Department of Didactics and Musical, Plastic and Physical Expression. The group is coordinated by Dr. Jordi Pàmies. CER-Migracions was established in 2009, affiliated to UAB. Since 2013, with the incorporation of GESDI (UB), a new inter-University period started. CER-M has been recognised as a Consolidated Research Group (GRC in Catalan) with funding from Generalitat de Catalunya (calls SGR 2014-2017 and SGR 2017-2019
