CARTIF se creó en 1994 como centro tecnológico dedicado a la investigación aplicada y con sede en el Parque Tecnológico de Boecillo, en Valladolid (España). CARTIF está constituida legalmente como fundación y sus principales objetivos son identificar las necesidades tecnológicas y desarrollar conocimientos basados en la I+D, apoyar la innovación tecnológica en la industria, principalmente entre las pymes, y difundir los resultados de la I+D y la innovación. Somos un centro español de investigación aplicada líder en actividades de I+D y transferencia de tecnología. Cada año, CARTIF lleva a cabo más de 100 proyectos de I+D e innovación y atiende a un número similar de clientes. En la actualidad, CARTIF cuenta con una plantilla de más de 200 personas, principalmente ingenieros, científicos e investigadores sénior que garantizan la calidad de los proyectos del centro. The Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is a centre that forms part of the CERCA system of research centres of the Government of Catalonia (Spain), and which was established as a partnership of four institutions: the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the Institute for Agri-Food Research and Technology (IRTA), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the University of Barcelona (UB). The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre is a public institution of excellence committed to research, diagnosis and treatment for cancer. The CIC nanoGUNE is a research center established in 2009 with the mission of addressing basic and applied world-class research in nanoscience and nanotechnology, fostering high-standard training and education of researchers in this field, and promoting the cooperation among the different agents in the Basque Science, Technology, and Innovation Network (Universities and Technological Centers) and between these agents and the industrial sector.
