At Château Trapaud in Saint-Emilion, tradition meets sustainability. For over 20 years, I’ve been crafting wines as the 4th generation winemaker of my family estate. Since 2009, I’ve embraced a bold choice: converting the vineyard to organic farming, to honor our terroir while shaping the future of winemaking. The story of Château Trapaud goes back to the 16th century. In 1925, the Larribière family became its proud guardians, and today the estate is carried on by the fourth generation. Since 1997, Béatrice has given it a new dynamic, expanding the vineyard to 25 hectares and guiding its conversion to organic farming—all while staying true to the family’s heritage and traditions. Château Trapaud wines are expressed through three identities : Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, and Vin de France, showcasing the diversity and richness of our terroirs.
