Citizen School

Citizen School has started its journey on 29th December 2016 & operational from 1st January 2017 with the vision to ensure quality education with the combination of technological & moral education to every last child even living in the remote village. CITIZEN School is the Education project under Citizen Foundation in order to connect the city & village to ensure equal opportunities for the village children and let them dream big. At present we have a model school situated in Kallyanpur village of Jhenaidah district. Presently, 81 village children are getting direct quality education in four classes (Play, KG, One & Two) under the observation of five regular teachers with one additional religious teacher & one office assistant. We have more than 22 students in one follow-up batch of class three. They are getting extra care from our school. And we also have some courses for the PSC, JSC, SSC & HSC Candidates as they don’t get better opportunities to learn from the village. There is a group of Local volunteers from college & university who visit the school every Thursday. They teach them extra curriculum activities on weekly basis. We have an amazing online volunteer team connected from all over the globe. They raise funds for the children & share their innovative ideas to make the platform more efficient and sustainable. CITIZEN SCHOOL is a nonprofit and subsidiary school funded by child sponsors and contributors with the motto "Maker of Ideal Citizens". You can also participate in this noble initiative by contributing any amount of donations or sharing your ideas. We will follow up with your sponsored child from the very beginning of childhood to university admission. This is an open platform for everyone to work for child education and moral development.
