Prior to the founding of City Fried Chicken in 2005 here in Toronto Ontario, Mr. Ahmad has operated numerous restaurants of its kind in New York for over 20 years. Currently, there are two branches (Toronto and Scarborough) but word has it they are looking to expand. “This wasn’t and still isn’t a business that I leave to Franchisees to run on their own, even after successful training you'll see me always on the ground helping because I’ve learnt to understand that effort itself makes food taste better - We are a fast food restaurant but ask us if we pre-cook anything.” Mr. Ahmad says. As a well established chain here in the GTA, City Fried Chicken prides itself with quality ingredients and freshness - where fast food meets real food.
