Experienced independent fundraising consultant. For the past two decades, I’ve been working in the charity and heritage sector, enabling organisations to deliver on their strategy and do what they do best. I know every part of the fundraising lifecycle inside out, from project vision and planning to delivery and evaluation. Because I start by thinking about, sometimes co-developing, an organisation’s strategy I make sure each step connects to the bigger picture of what success looks like for whoever I’m working with. I’ve always been passionate about history and the natural landscape around us. After an MA studying just that, I spent over a decade working at some of the UK’s pre-eminent heritage institutions, including Historic Royal Palaces, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and the Science Museum Group. In 2016, I started my own consultancy business. Specialising in trust and foundation income generation since then I’ve worked with a range of charities around the UK.
